Google has done it again! At the forefront of social media and marketing, Google launched its Google for Advertisers site.  This addition to the search engine giant is all about providing information for advertisers. The site is broken down into basically 4 main platforms.

1. The ability to read up on various media platforms such as search, TV, content network, or mobile. This teaches advertisers how to reach their target in the most relevant and effective way through different devices.

2. The Marketing Cycle shows advertisers how to combine strategy, creative, media and optimization to deliver a strong campaign

3. Marketing Objective platform brings together all the different Google tools to solve your marketing goal

4. The Personal Toolkit allows you to add all the interesting Google tools you stumble upon and add them to a "toolkit" that you can share with others and use as you build your campaign.

After clicking on the google link posted in the homework assignment, I came to discover some very, neat, useful and beneficial tools that marketers can and should take advantage of. The four main topics were "Insights", "Creative", "Media", and "Optimization". All of these sections offer a wide range of spectacular tools for users to take advantage of. The Creative section offers great creative tools such as Creative Gallery, and DoubleClick Rich Media Gallery which contains the web-based interface DoubleClick Studio. The media section offers tools where users can easily manage large quantities of keywords and it also offers all types of advertising tools, such as YouTube, Mobile, and Television Advertising.

Problogger is currently number 16 on Ad Age's list of 150 Power Blogs. Problogger is successful because they have made themselves a trusted resource for blogging advice. I recently started my own fashion blog and I have been using Problogger frequently for tips and advice. I really like Problogger author, Darren Rowse's straight forward writing style. His posts are very easy to follow.

For the past week or so I have been following the Hubspot: Inbound Internet Marketing Blog, currently number 15 on the Adage Power 150. This blog is a great resource for Internet and Social Media Marketing. It has informed me quite a bit on the subject of internet marketing including the definitions for Inbound and Outbound Marketing. This post on Inbound/Outbound Marketing is one of my favorites which you can read here.

Inbound Marketing - helping yourself get found by people who are already learning about and shopping in your industry.

Outbound Marketing - when a marketer pushes his/her message out far and wide hoping it resonates with that needle in the haystack.
